notes on how i spent the past week.

nua-ed during the begining of the week.
started to panic as the dateline of individual assignment looms ahead. chionged like mad in order to complete it.
managed to puke in a cab but thank god i submitted it on time.

caught up with some of the mafias cuz junhong was going sailing for a few months. had dinner at azubu and desserts at MOF. dom's treat :)

up to mount faber. my boy really impressed me with his knowledge. love how goblin comes to life with a "VROOM!..gggrrrrr" without having to stop for a kickstart. oh ya, the speed of going down hill with the engine off can be 60km/h. eh, and i kinda panicked cuz i thought brakes wont work when the engine is off.

met up with eh, dunno how to classify...dom's friend? or my friends? maybe 70% dom's, 30% my friends. HAHA. or rather, OUR friends. leen&jeff,ben,imran & ks at villabali. supper, or rather breakfast at the prata place near jervois after that.
saw my dream car!! baby was telling me he saw the car i like, but the zhng-ed version. its really cool, look like a mini version of those zhng-ed WRX.

anyway, i think dom was in a "lets ride" mood cuz these are the places we covered in 3 hours:

Selegie
-> Mustafa Centre to pick up some stuffs
-> Far East Square to try the beef noodles we saw on TV last week (its wasnt as good as i thought. probably wont eat it ever again, although the lady boss was nice to ask me to try their chilli which i replied "eh, bu yong jing, wo bu chi la, xiexie ni")
-> China Square to use the loo
-> Singapore Flyer (i read that it was fully booked for couples who want to celebrate their Valentine's Day in the air. one cabin holds 10 couples. dom was kinda sceptical, "got so big meh??" after seeing the size of the cabin upclose [they have one for display near the base of the ferris wheel] ..concluded that its really big.)
-> Shenton Way (we went to some spiral carpark, the view wasnt that good..)
-> Integrated Resort (rode as near as we could to the uncompleted version, many cranes and ah-nehs)
-> Marina South (my family used to go there to bbq at the open space!)
-> Marina South Pier (toyed with the idea of going to pulau ubin)
-> Prince Edward Road (cuz both of us have never been there, when we got there..realised that its near shenton way. CHEY! btw, i didnt know that shenton way is like a ghost town on sundays! cafes like tcc, coffee bean and secret recipe are closed too! even MPH was dark and deserted.)
-> West Coast Highway (an unforgettable experience for me. the road was high up and kinda deserted. on the right, dark black clouds. look to the left and i see the sunset. bright orange sky with the huge sun. and we're riding smack in the middle.)
-> headed to Kent Ridge Park . no more large dragon at haw par villa. and the slopes up to Kent Ridge are seriously STEEP. felt like i was going to slip off goblin. imagine the slopes down. *horror*
-> 9 cokes 13 bends or as dom like to call it 99 bends.
-> it started drizzling so we stopped under a flyover to put on the rain gear. (gotex for dom, flimsy red cardi for me) and we rode home in the rain.

i'm sorry that i missed the shopping session with the girls because of my intensive :(
plus, i'm broke!
